Three Fordway staff are participating in extreme cycling challenges to raise funds for Eikon in July. Eikon is Fordway’s supported charity for 2016. Based in Surrey Eikon mentor and help teenagers facing difficult situations to come through them.
Richard Blanford, managing director, is riding L’Etap du Tour, where he is pretending to be a Tour de France rider. L’Etape is over the final mountain stage of this year’s Tour de France between Megeve and Morzine. It’s only 100 miles but there’s over 10,000 vertical feet of climbing.
Rob Howe and Conrad Juleff are supporting Eikon by doing the 100 mile Ride London event on 30th July. The route features leg-testing climbs and a route through London and Surrey made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics.
