The G-Cloud 9 framework has now gone live and we’re delighted to say it includes four new Fordway services alongside our existing cloud services such as Cloud Intermediation Service, Cloud Migration and our core Managed Cloud Services.
The new services have been designed around issues our customers have highlighted as high on their priorities in 2017 - moving legacy applications to the cloud, rationalising data and streamlining storage and cost, complying with the GDPR and providing business quality cloud communications. All four new services are also available directly from Fordway to all customers.
We’ve been offering services through G-Cloud since the framework’s first iteration, and have already successfully implemented contracts for clients including DECC, the Skills Funding Agency and UKAS.
The new services are:
• Application Replatforming to Cloud – enabling organisation to understand which applications are suitable for migrating to public or private cloud, the business applications and the associated benefits and risks of moving.
• Cloud Data Storage and Tiering – analysing an organisation’s data use and business needs and designing a consolidated solution to bridge existing solutions with cloud services
• Cloud Skype for Business – enterprise grade unified communications, including IM, voice, video and collaboration capabilities based on per user/month pricing and delivered from Fordway’s resilient infrastructure in Tier 3 UK datacentres.
• GDPR Security Bridging Service – consultancy to help organisations achieve GDPR compliance and align with security best practice.
